Yes. The best way to get there is via public transport. Catch a train or tram to Flinders St station and it is a short walk from there past Federation Square. It’s a beautiful walk along the Yarra River.

Will it be possible to get a taxi?

There is a taxi rank outside of Flinders Street Station. This is opposite Fed Square and it would be the best option and most convenient pick up place for a taxi or Uber.

How do I get there?

The best way to get there is to catch a train to Flinders St Station. It is a short 5 minute walk past Federation Square and ArtPlay. For Regional areas, catch a train or coach to Southern Cross and make your way around on a train to Flinders St Station.

Is there seating? Should I bring a chair?

NO there will be no seating. Small, low festival chairs will be allowed in front of the performance areas. If you bring a high camping chair you will need to sit to the sides or towards the back areas. Dancing will be encouraged so make sure you are ready to get out of your chair and have a lot of fun!

Where will I park?

There is a multi storey car park next to Federation Square. Other options for parking will be at the Arts Centre or around the CBD area. Best option for travel would be to catch a train to Flinders Street and walk to Birrarung Marr – a short 5 minute walk.

Will there be a merchandise tent or anything available to purchase?

YES there will be a merchandise tent at the event. Artists that choose to sell their merchandise will do so at the Merch Tent. Again this will be cashless so you will need a card to purchase.

What happens if I’ve lost my ticket?

If you have lost your ticket go to https://www.trybooking.com/lost-tickets and enter the email address you bought the ticket with.

Can I BYO food and drinks?

NO this isn’t a BYO event. There will be plenty of great food vans available for you to purchase food. Please bring a re-usable water bottle as we are working hard to be environmentally friendly and cut out plastics. There will be a water station to fill up your water bottles.

  • I played the 2 Worlds Festival in Geelong the other week. The intent was to bring Indigenous artists and non-Indigenous artists together and that was about the best festival I have played in 30 years, it was amazing. It was really wonderful.

  • I loved the melding of Indigenous and western cultures - there was a lot to see as soon as you walked into the gate, lots of different performers and forms of art like indigenous dancing, local folk craft and rock n roll bands all at the same time.

    Adalita Musician
