Is there public transport to the venue?

No there is not public transport to the Old Papermills. All ticket holders will need to arrange their own travel to and from the venue.

Will it be possible to get a taxi?

Yes Fyansford is about 10 minutes in to the Geelong CBD and Geelong station. Taxi’s are a travel option to and from the venue.

Ensure you tell them UPPER PAPERMILLS ROAD and get them to drive to the drop off zone at the very end of Upper Papermills Road.

How do I get there from Geelong CBD?

11 minutes (5.6km)
1. From the Central Business District – get on to Aberdeen St
2. Continue along Aberdeen / Hamilton Hwy – B140 (4.3km)
3. Turn left onto UPPER PAPERMILLS ROAD (do not enter Lower Papermills Road)

How do I get there from Melbourne?

1 h 4 min (78,7km)
1. Get on M! in Southbank from Queen St and Power St (9 min – 2.1km)
2. Follow M1 to Fyansford. Take the exit for B140 from M1 (49 min – 75.1km)
3. Continue on Hamilton Hwy/B140. (2 min – 1.4km)
4. Drive to Upper Paper Mills Rd (Turn right), do not enter Lower Papermills Road.

Is there seating? Should I bring a chair?

Yes bring a fold up chair and a picnic rug for the main stage area is recommended as it is a natural amphitheatre and on a hill.

Where will I park?

All parking is along Upper Paper Mills Road this year. There is Disabled parking at the end of Upper Paper Mills Road. Please ensure you have your Disabled Parking sticker.

If it’s raining will everything be undercover?

The site is set up for inside and outside entertainment. We are remaining positive that the sun will be shining, however if it is wet the festival will move the entertainment to an inside venue. As it is now, most of the entertainment is planned for indoors anyway. There will only be a few activities that will be impacted by inclement weather.

Prepare for cold weather

Please wear appropriate clothing especially if you are staying until 10.00pm. It will be chilly so please wear warm clothes and maybe even bring a blanket.

Will there be a merchandise tent or anything available to purchase?

Yes there will be a merchandise tent. Artists and Bands have been invited to bring their CD’s along for patrons to purchase.

Is there an ATM at the venue?

Yes there will be an ATM at the venue.

Is this a kid friendly event?

Yes it is very much a kid friendly event. There will be activities for kids from 1.00-5.00pm. Adults need to keep in mind it is a licensed event and children must be accompanied at all times.

Do I need to pay for children?

U/12 children are free.  Children from 13-17 years can purchase a concession ticket but must be accompanied by an adult, not dropped at the gate.

Do I need to bring my printed ticket?

We prefer if you bring your printed ticket as it makes the entry process quicker and easier. However we can scan barcodes on mobile phones.

What happens if I’ve lost my ticket?

If you have lost your ticket go to https://www.trybooking.com/lost-tickets and enter the email address you bought the ticket with. 

Can I BYO food and drinks?

There will be food vendors selling food as well as the Door Gallery Café and the Provenance Winery will have food options.

There will be alcohol served in the Winery, Café and 3 outside of bars.
Strictly NO BYO DRINKS. Bags will be checked.

Please bring a re-usable water bottle as we are trying to be environmentally friendly and cut out plastics. There will be a water station to fill up your water bottles.
